Ayurvedic Massage FAQ
Unlike deep-tissue or Swedish massage, Ayurvedic massage focuses on energy flow, warm herbal oils, and rhythmic movements to harmonize the body rather than just releasing muscle tension.
Kat will use sesame oil for your treatment, unless you are allergic. This will deeply nourish the skin, improve circulation, and enhance relaxation.
Yes, but if you are pregnant, have certain medical conditions, or allergies to specific oils, please consult with our therapist before booking.
Your therapist will use warm oil, gentle to firm strokes, and circular movements tailored to your needs. The treatment is deeply relaxing and can leave you feeling rejuvenated.
It’s recommended to leave the oil on your skin for some time to allow absorption. However, if needed, you can shower with warm water (avoid soap immediately).

Pregnancy Massage
One of our trained float masters will guide you throughout your visit, to ensure you get the most optimal experience.
First you will be shown around and given clear instructions.
You will take a shower, insert some ear plugs and step into the tank.
Once comfortable inside, you can close the door, switch off the light and lie down.
You will find yourself floating effortlessly in the salt water. Relaxing music will play for the first minutes of your float, and at the end, to signal that the session is ending.
This ensures a calm wakening, should you have fallen into a deep meditative state.
Aromatherapy Massage
The water is only 30 cm deep, and contains 550 kg of epsom salt.
After your float, you will have plenty of time for a shower and some pampering.
We will provide you with towels, hair and skin products and a hair dryer. You can enjoy some tea and snacks in the lounge.
To help you relax, we suggest avoiding caffeine and alcohol before your float.
Make sure to eat something a couple of hours before, so that you are not disturbed by hunger.
Avoid shaving 24 hours before, as the salt may irritate the skin.
