Antenatal Massage
Pregnancy massage at Copenhagen Float relieves strain, reduces inflammation, and improves circulation.
Antenatal massage
During pregnancy, your body goes through significant physical and hormonal changes. Increased weight, shifting posture, and fluid retention can place extra strain on your muscles, often leading to fatigue, discomfort, and disrupted sleep.
Pregnancy massage is designed to support your body through these changes. By easing muscle tension, improving circulation, and promoting relaxation, it helps you feel more balanced and comfortable. As your posture naturally adapts throughout pregnancy, massage can also help reduce strain and support better alignment.
Taking time to care for yourself benefits both you and your baby. When you feel more relaxed and supported, it can have a positive impact on your overall wellbeing during pregnancy.
Research suggests that women who receive regular massage during pregnancy may experience shorter labours, reduced hospital stays, and a lower risk of postnatal depression.
A pregnancy massage helps to reduce:
- Muscle tension and pain
- Problems related to sleep
- Restlessness
- Fluid retention
- Soreness in feet and hands
- Headaches and migraines
- Pelvic pain and tension
Your comfort and safety are our priority. We use a specially designed massage table with extra space to accommodate your belly and breasts. If you are further along in your pregnancy, we may recommend a side-lying position, supported with additional pillows to ensure you can relax fully throughout your treatment.

Why not try our kombi treatment?
Combining floatation therapy with prenatal massage offers powerful support during pregnancy. Floating creates a feeling of weightlessness, relieving pressure on the joints and spine while promoting deep relaxation, reduced stress, and better sleep.
Paired with massage, it helps ease common discomforts such as back pain, swelling, and muscle tension, while improving circulation and overall wellbeing.
Floatation is safe during pregnancy, though it may be more challenging to enter and exit the tank in later stages. Feel free to get in touch if you have any concerns.
